Music an Escape from Reality

Music says what words just cant

A good song lets you escape from reality, but a great song puts words on how your felling when you cant find them yourself, it makes you want to break down crying or burst out laugthing, because it just captures how felling so well that you almost start to think that the song was written about you.

Writting a song is like putting your soul on a piece of paper, you become very vulnerable and exposed, but its also a good way to tell people your story or show people who you really are.

Now im definitely not saying that this is the case with all songs, i mean i dont think that lil dive felt like she was pouring her soul out when she wrote "Let me take a selfie", im just saying that in most cases you have to give some of yourself to write a great song.

I know that writting and making music isnt for everyone, but you dont have to make or write music to express yourself through it. By showing what music you listen to you are showing a part of yourself, because there are so many different kinds of music and so many different genres so it only makes sence that the music you listen to reflecs who you are and what you like.

I dont write song or anything else for that matter, I would if I knew how or if i was any good at it but unfortunately im not, so i guess im going to leave that up to someone who actually know what they are doing.
